The first “Modern Woman” conference was held on September 5, 2024 under the title “Modern Woman – Transformation and Power”. The theme emphasized the role of a woman in the modern world, in which transformations have taken place – professional, social and personal, creating in her inner strength.
The first edition was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry, the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship Wojciech Saługa, the President of the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolitan Region Kazimierz Karolczak, the Governor of Silesia Marek Wójcik and the Mayor of Katowice Marcin Krupa, while the Katowice City was the co-host.
The event brought together a group of prominent women representing various fields of public life, business, academia and culture. The program included inspiring lectures, panel discussions and training workshops. The interest in the event exceeded all expectations and became a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as a place where new business and social relationships were established.
The continuation of the discussions on the important role of women in the world of economy, business, politics and science on April 4, 2025 will be the second edition of the conference titled: “Modern Woman – Leaders of the Future”. During the event, topics in the field of economy in Poland and the world, creating and running one’s own business or in companies, politics and science will be discussed in terms of leadership, development and inspiration of a woman. The meeting will become a space where women leaders in business, science, technology and key figures from the world of politics and business will share their knowledge, experience and vision of the future.
The program will include substantive panel discussions focusing on innovative solutions and leadership strategies in a changing reality. The conference themes will allow for the sharing of experiences and inspiration in building one’s own leadership path, while highlighting the unique values and strengths that women bring to the world of business, politics, economics and science.
