DAMEL S.A., as one of the most recognized companies in the electrical machinery industry, is constantly following modern trends and seeking new opportunities for development. We invite you to read an interview with the company’s President, Mr. Leszek Stokłosa, who shared with us his vision of the company’s future, its diversification strategy and his insights on participation in international industry events.
What are the development perspectives and areas of diversification of DAMEL’s activities??
Leszek Stokłosa: DFME DAMEL S.A. is a leading manufacturer of electric motors, we have established a strong position on the market, especially in the mining industry. The development of the mining industry has always required advanced and reliable technologies, where safety and efficiency are extremely important. We intend to transfer the knowledge and experience we have acquired into a new business area.
A strategic step in the company’s development could be to enter the water transport industry. This will, of course, entail certain benefits as well as challenges. It will be necessary to adapt the existing technology to the conditions of operation on water in order to achieve a competitive advantage and success in the new market sector.
Traditional internal combustion engines, which dominate water transport, generate emissions and pollutants that have a negative impact on aquatic ecosystems and air quality. The introduction of electric motors instead of internal combustion will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and also reduce noise.
Traditional internal combustion engines, which dominate water transport, generate emissions and pollutants that have a negative impact on aquatic ecosystems and air quality. The introduction of electric motors instead of internal combustion will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, but also reduce noise. Electric motors offer high efficiency with lower energy consumption. This innovative technology opens up new horizons for the development of fleets of ships, yachts, fishing boats and other vessels. It heralds a coming growth in water transport, where ecology and efficiency go hand in hand.
What specific benefits would you emphasise as a result of the participation of the Company’s representatives in conferences, trade fairs and foreign trade missions?
Leszek Stokłosa: The participation of company representatives at conferences or trade fairs can bring many benefits, both for the company itself and its long-term development. Such meetings with potential customers or other industry representatives are excellent opportunities to establish new business contacts and build relationships with existing ones. Foreign trade missions provide a platform to present the company to new foreign markets, which can lead to increased reach and global expansion.
Being active at conferences and trade fairs can help build and strengthen a positive company image, but also interaction with other participants can provide inspiration for innovations or improvements in production processes.
Attending trade fairs enables you to keep up to date with the latest trends. The observation of other exhibitors allows for a better understanding of changing market needs.
However, there is also a risk that inadequate preparation for trade fair participation can lead to a wasted opportunity to effectively promote the company.
