Since 1940, Dąbrowa Fabryka Maszyn Elektrycznych “Damel” S.A. has been providing services in the field of electric machines and producing electric motors. It is one of the leading manufacturers in the market, which for years has been supplying the highest quality products, mainly to the mining industry. The company’s activities include:
- production of electric motors (including special construction), electromagnetic iron separators and other electrical machinery and equipment;
- carrying out service activities in the field of renovation of high- and low-voltage electrical machines (especially of special construction), transformers, as well as service repairs and diagnostics of electrical machines (also at the customer’s site);

In the photos below you can see the installation of thermal protection sensors in the impregnated stator package and the profile coils prepared for the stator winding process.
The stator is one of the basic components of an electric motor, consisting of a magnetic core and winding. During stator winding, copper wires are placed on the magnetic core, forming many conductive loops called coils. This winding creates the magnetic field that is necessary to generate rotor motion. Depending on the type of motor, the stator winding can be single-phase or three-phase. In the process of stator winding, it is important to carefully control the number of windings, the thickness of the wire and how they are laid. All these factors affect the performance of the motor and its electrical parameters, such as current, voltage and power. Therefore, good stator winding design is crucial to the performance and durability of an electric motor.
