During the third day of the EXPO KATOWICE 2022 International Trade Fair and after the presentation of the State Forests, the presentation of prizes in the student innovation competition and a concluding press briefing with the participation of EXPO Katowice SA President Iwona Gramatyka and Katowice Mayor Dr. Marcin Krupa, a debate entitled “Coal is still needed” was held on the main stage of the Fair. “Coal is still needed”, which was attended by Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets Piotr Pyzik, MEP Grzegorz Tobiszowski, PGG CEO Tomasz Rogala and Węglokoks CEO Tomasz Heryszek. The moderator of the debate was the deputy editor-in-chief of Dziennik Zachodni – Jędzrzej Lipski
EXPO KATOWICE 2022 International Trade Fair is:
- More than 200 exhibitors representing several hundred companies from 13 countries around the world (including the USA and India);
- 10,000 square meters of exhibition space;
- More than 20,000 people who visited the Fair for 2.5 days;
- More than 100 journalists from home and abroad accredited during the Fair
